Our client aimed to refresh their summer home without any extensive renovations or lengthy construction plans in a way that complements its seasonal use and represents their client’s own ever-evolving personal style.
A welcoming conversation area was added to the front-of-house bar as a casual space for hosting friends and family alike.
A banquette was outfitted near the kitchen and living room to provide additional seating and lounging space for morning and daytime activities.
What was once dark and uninviting dining room walls were refinished with metallic grasscloth wallpaper to enliven the space. The refurbished walls also maximize natural daylight. A rustic, oversized teak table was placed as a finishing touch to ground the room of this otherwise formal space.
The primary bedroom was redecorated to complement the adjoining room, which we previously designed as a homage to a Moroccan sitting room — a tall bed frame to enhance the regal yet calming atmosphere of the bedroom as a whole.
The office, which was previously a guest room, was completely refinished to accommodate the work-from-home lifestyle of the homeowners.
The guest rooms throughout the house were also reworked and updated to greet guests with comfort and contemporary sophistication.
